One of our first trips when we started dating 4 ½ Years ago, was a long easter weekend in Capri. Even though the weather wasn’t great and it was still quite cold we absolutely fell in love with the romantic little island. 4 Years later we went back to capri during our summer vacation and little did I know that Jesco was going to pop the question that day.
It really was a magical day. The sun was shining, the ocean was calm and blue as we got on board a little boat that drove us from Sorrento to Capri. I wish I could remembered our Captains name right now, but he was such a lovely and sweet guy. He took us to all the good places around the island where we could swim and snorkel.
We went inside the blue grotto and after that he dropped us off at the Beach Club “La Fontelina” which has always been on my bucket list, since so many old hollywood actors have been there. We loved the vibe and the food was really good.
So when we got back to our boat, I went to the front to get some sun. Then our Captain started spinning the boat directly towards the famous Faraglioni Rocks with the “Love Arch” in the middle. I thought we were going to anker or something but then Jesco suddenly popped up behind me and started grinning and then I kind of new.
We’re Engaged!
It was the most special, sweet, fun and romantic day of our lives and we will always cherish that moment. Cheers to our Captain for being so amazing and taking care of us!
